Quotation Marks
The Psychologist at Purple House suggested various interventions for our son which were implemented at home and at school. Following these changes, there has been a miraculous turnaround in his well-being. I can’t thank Purple House enough – our lives have been transformed!

Parent of young child

The Psychologist at Purple House was amazing. I felt safe with her from the very first session. She was supportive and professional and with her help I have been able to begin the journey back to truly living my life. She has changed my life in a very real way and I’m so proud of myself for making it as far as I did with her help. Thank you!

Next in our new spotlight section is Sarah Todd who discusses her work as part of the team at The Purple House Clinic, Lincoln

My work at Purple House Clinic Lincoln:
For many years as a clinician, I have specialised in trauma and mental health, and it has been my absolute pleasure to join Purple House Clinic Lincoln to deliver and develop their attachment trauma pathway. I work therapeutically with individuals of all ages but really value specialising in providing attachment focussed psychological care for looked after children/adolescents and their families.

The impact of my work at the Lincoln Clinic:
Since starting in November 2023, I am proud to have already worked with so many incredible adults, children, and adolescents. I am afforded the opportunity to not only work with individuals in isolation, but also systemically with their families which maximises progress made. I have received feedback that my therapeutic work has already made a difference to my clients, and I love that they value not only the safe space we develop to explore and attend to their struggles but also how I use creativity, curiosity and play to be able to do safely.

The benefits of working as a Clinician:
Purple House Clinic Lincoln are an incredibly supportive team who have provided a welcoming and warm environment not only for myself as a clinician and for my clients to engage in their therapy and recovery. Here I can work flexibly and creatively and have also been supported to continue to develop my knowledge and practice. I am privileged to get to work towards further developing our attachment trauma pathway for children and adolescents, and really look forward to what this will look like in the future as the clinic expands its expertise in this area as a new hub for specialist Child and Adolescent EMDR training.
